On January 7th we’ll be screening a documentary about a big showdown in the german forest occupation Danni, where hundreds of activists fought against the construction of a new highway.
In the middle of a 270 years old forest in central Germany, activists took to the trees mid-2019, in a drastic attempt to prevent the destruction of a precious nature habitat, threatened by the German state’s capitalist expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure (Highway A49)
This documentary covers the extensive and two months long eviction of the activists encamped high up in the trees, in their treehouses, as well as covering the enormous police operation that took place, to combat those fighting for climate justice.

The practical:
The screening takes place in Solidaritetshuset, Griffenfeldsgade 41, 2200 København.
The movie starts at 19.15 and the door is open from 19.00.
