🎬 In collaboration with CBS, we invite you to the premiere of “Where the trees grow” followed up with a talk about the cases.

🎥 This powerful documentary highlights the struggle of Indigenous Peoples in Thailand and Malaysia (Sabah) to protect their rights to land. The film offers a compelling portrayal of how their cultures are deeply intertwined with the rich, biodiverse environments they inhabit. Through powerful storytelling, it sheds light on the threats posed by dams and oil palm plantations, which jeopardize both their way of life and the ecosystems they nurture. The journey takes us deep into their lands, showcasing their resilience in fighting for their homes - sometimes achieving victories, and at other times facing losses.

The film emphasizes the vital importance of listening to Indigenous voices, as they live in harmony with nature and are its dedicated stewards.
