Trans Day of Celebration 2024

by transc0re

Transc0re is once again inviting trans* people, as well as allies, to the Trans Celebration Day, which this time will take place at Bøssehuset, on August 24th 2024! We would like to repeat the success of last year’s event, by welcoming you to a day full of speeches, music, performances, art, friendships, love… In other words, let us celebrate our tenderness, strength, resilience, gender-fuckery, beauty and diversity, together. Because, in a time of rising hate and discrimination against the trans* community, it is now more important than ever for us to come together in solidarity.

When and where?
Date: 24th August 2024
Time: 12:00 - 17:00
Location: Mælkevejen 69D, 1440 København - Christiania

We will spend the day together enjoying speeches from members of the community, listening to music and sharing moments of trans* joy and as well as anger. And much more!

Tickets will be in the price range 80-100 kr - link to follow. This is an accessible venue.
The event is organized by Transc0re, a non-profit organisation committed to creating spaces by and for trans* people.
This event is open to trans* people as well as their friends, families and allies.
We invite everyone who identifies as trans*, meaning trans women, trans men, non-binary, gender questioning, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, agender, demigender, genderqueer, genderfuck, two-spirit, gender neutral or in general not fitting with a gender identity that was assigned to them at birth.
We encourage you to bring your loved ones - trans*, questioning, as well as allies.

After this part of the event, we hope to see many faces at our afterparty in the evening.
