HVAD?
En hel dag fyldt med en masse gode aktiviteter, hvor du kan bytte dig til "nyt" lækkert tøj, høre spændende talks fra Alternative Fashion Week og Fashion Revolution og få essentiel viden om etik og bæredygtighed indenfor tøjindustrien. Swapshoppen hjælper dig med at rydde op i garderoben og fylde den med gratis fund. Du kan hermed fremme dine cirkulære tøjvaner og udfordre Fast Fashion industrien!
HVORFOR?
Vores planet og mennesker lider under overforbrug. Fast-fashion industrien med billigt tøj, mange kollektioner og en brug og smid væk-kultur presser både miljø, klima og menneskerettigheder. Vi skal nytænke mode og gøre den bæredygtig og etisk. Så derfor skal du komme forbi og være med til at gøre mode mere bæredygtigt og retfærdigt.
HVORNÅR?
D. 22. september 2024 kl. 11-17
SIMPELT KONCEPT: Tag lige så mange stykker tøj med hjem som du medbringer. Der vil også være spændende og inspirerende oplæg og workshops om tekstilindustriens udfordringer og løsninger.
HVORDAN DELTAGER MAN?
Gennemgå din garderobe og find rent, intakt tøj/sko/accessories (ingen sokker eller undertøj).
Spørg dig selv: "Ville jeg give dette til en ven?" Hvis ja, så tag det med! Hvis nej, smid det til genbrug.
Pak alt sammen og medbring det til Café Mellemrummet i ugen op til eventet eller på eventdagen. Vores frivillige registrerer dit tøj og tilmelder dig.
Vi samler tøj 1 uge fra søndag den 15. september.

WHAT?
A whole day filled with great activities where you can swap your way to "new" stylish clothes, listen to exciting talks from Alternative Fashion Week and Fashion Revolution, and gain essential knowledge about ethics and sustainability in the fashion industry. The swap shop helps you declutter your wardrobe and fill it with free finds. This is your chance to promote circular clothing habits and challenge the Fast Fashion industry!
WHY?
Our planet and people suffer from overconsumption. The fast-fashion industry, with its cheap clothing, numerous collections, and throwaway culture, puts pressure on the environment, climate, and human rights. We need to rethink fashion to make it sustainable and ethical. So come by and join us in making fashion more sustainable and fair.
WHEN?
September 22, 2024, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
SIMPLE CONCEPT:
Bring X number of clothing items and take the same number of new ones home. There will also be inspiring talks and workshops on the challenges and solutions in the textile industry.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
1. Go through your wardrobe and find clean, intact clothes/shoes/accessories (no socks or underwear).
2. Ask yourself: "Would I give this to a friend?" If yes, bring it! If not, donate it to recycling. 3. Pack everything up and bring it to Café Mellemrummet in the week leading up to the event or on the event day. Our volunteers will register your clothes and sign you up.
We are collecting clothes for 1 week starting Sunday, September 15.
