Pride Under Pressure: Queer Resistance Across Borders ❤
In a time when Pride itself has become a frontline, join us for an evening of international queer solidarity, resistance, and reflection. Organized in collaboration with ActionAid Denmark / Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, this event is part of Tbilisi Pride’s ongoing advocacy to raise awareness of the shrinking democratic space and LGBTQI+ rights under attack both in Georgia and across the continent.

16:00 - Doors Open: Welcome lounge with non-profit bar and DJ
17:00 - Panel Discussion, East Meets West: Queer Lives Between Borders and Backlashes (Speakers TBA). This urgent cross-cultural dialogue brings together activists and advocates from both Eastern and Western Europe. We'll explore the decline of LGBTQI+ rights and democratic freedoms across Europe and strategies for building resistance, solidarity and mutual support. We will share personal experiences and perspectives, bold truths, uncomfortable comparisons, and hopeful visions for a united front across the continent.
18:00 - Community Dinner: Share a meal and continue the conversation with old and new friends.
20:00 - Film Screening, "Wet Sand": Experience this powerful Georgian queer film that captures the complexity of LGBTQI+ life in the region.
🌍 Why This Matters:
None of us are immune - as democratic backsliding and anti-gender movements take hold across Europe, we must stay united in queer resistance and radical hope.
This Pride Month, come to listen, learn, and show solidarity. Because Pride is still protest.
