Alle på gaden for et frit Palæstina-initiativet går på gaden den 5. maj, dagen hvor det officielle Danmark fejrer befrielsen fra den nazistiske besættelse. Vi fejrer befrielsen ved at kræve et stop for folkemordet i Gaza.
Det samme officielle Danmark støtter nemlig den zionistiske besættelse af Palæstina. En besættelse, der kombinerer etnisk udrensning med folkemord i Gaza. En besættelse, der udføres ved hjælp af danske våbenfabrikker.
Vi kræver et stop for den støtte. Vores navn, vores historie om kamp mod besættelsen, skal ikke bruges til at undertrykke andre folkeslag.
Danmark fejrer med rette den historiske befrielse – men fejringen giver os på gaden en sur smag i munden. Danske politikere fortsætter med, retorisk set, at binde modstand mod zionismen og dens ugerninger sammen med anti-semitisme, og at splitte os op mod hverandre. Vores fælles optræden i solidariteten er den bedste afvisning af had-retorikken.
Vi går på gaden i hjertet af København med en hilsen til det palæstinensiske folk i Gaza, på Vestbredden, i lejrene og i diasporaen. Vores modstandsfolk – de kammerater der sikrede Danmark en plads på den rigtige side af historien – går med os i ånden. Ved at bekæmpe folkemordet, og dansk støtte til folkemordet, fører vi den kamp videre, som de gav alt for.
- Hvad går vi på gaden for? -
Vi kræver en øjeblikkelig og varig våbenhvile, ubegrænset adgang til nødhjælp, en ende på den ulovlige belejring af Gaza, frigivelse af de over 7.000 palæstinensiske gidsler i Israel mod frigivelsen af de resterende israelske gidsler i Gaza og at den danske regering indfører en våbenembargo mod Israel.
Demonstrationerne er organiseret af en række Palæstina solidaritetsgrupper og aktivister, der går under den samlede betegnelse Alle På Gaden For et Frit Palæstina-initiativet.
Kampen for et frit Palæstina er en kamp mod alle former for undertrykkelse. Vi fordømmer og modsætter os alle former for racisme og diskrimination, inklusiv antisemitisme, islamofobi, zionisme og homofobi.

Alle på gaden for et frit Palæstina-Initiativet takes to the streets on May 5, the day where the official Denmark celebrates the liberation from the Nazi occupation. We celebrate liberation by demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza.
The same official Denmark supports the Zionist occupation of Palestine. An occupation that combines ethnic cleansing with genocide in Gaza, an occupation carried out with the help of Danish arms factories.
We demand an end to that support. Our name, our history of struggle against occupation, should not be used to oppress other people.
Denmark rightly celebrates the historic liberation - but the celebration leaves us on the street with a bad taste in our mouths. Danish politicians continue to rhetorically link opposition to Zionism and its atrocities with anti-Semitism, and to divide us against each other. Our united practice of solidarity is the best rejection of hate rhetoric.
We take to the streets in the heart of Copenhagen in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, in the West Bank, in the camps and in the diaspora. Our resistance fighters - the comrades who secured Denmark a place on the right side of history - join us in spirit. By fighting the genocide, and Danish support for the genocide, we carry on the fight for which they gave everything.
What are our demands?
We demand an immediate and lasting ceasefire, unrestricted access to humanitarian aid, an end to the illegal siege of Gaza, the release of over 7,000 Palestinian hostages in Israel in exchange for the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza, and that the Danish government imposes an arms embargo against Israel.
The demonstrations are organized by a number of Palestine solidarity groups and activists under the collective name Alle på gaden for et frit Palæstina-Initiativet.
The struggle for a free Palestine is a fight against all forms of oppression. We condemn and oppose all forms of racism and discrimination, including antisemitism, Islamophobia, Zionism, and homophobia.

- No flags other than the Palestinian flag
- No banners, symbols, flags, flyers, etc., from political parties or religious organizations
- No racism, homophobia, or other discriminatory behavior and shouting
