Food and Talk: Palæstina Film Festival Edition

by Palestinian Solidarity Action Aarhus

Join us on Thursday, October 3rd, at Ungdomskulturhuset for an unforgettable evening at the Palestine Film Festival in Aarhus. As part of this year’s festival, PSA, in collaboration with UKH-Aarhus, will be hosting a special Food & Talk event before the screening of From Ground Zero.

Our talented chef Mariam will guide us through the process of making Fatteh, a traditional Palestinian dish. Cooking starts at 16:30, with 15-20 spots available for those who want to get hands-on. If you prefer to just enjoy the meal, join us at 18:00 for a communal dinner. We have space for 60 guests, so come share food, conversation, and community.

Before the movie begins, Rashid Masharawi, the director of From Ground Zero, will give a special talk about the film. From Ground Zero shares 22 personal stories from the latest conflicts in Gaza, capturing the challenges, tragedies, and resilience of its people. Despite difficult filming conditions, it offers an intimate and powerful portrait of daily life in Gaza.

Entry is free, but sign up is required—message PSA on Facebook or Instagram to reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing you on October 3rd
