When living in Northern Europe, climate change and its consequences seem far away. While we can read about it, and discuss it with friends, family, and colleagues, we still feel detached from it and safe in our bubble.
Hence, action groups all over the world are actively working to raise awareness about climate change and its impacts, focusing on both local and global issues. These groups organize protests, community events, and educational campaigns to engage the public and push for policy changes that address the climate crisis.
A Dutch photojournalist has been documenting their efforts, capturing the determination and passion behind these initiatives. Through powerful images of protests, grassroots movements, and moments of collective action, Sil Moison visually tells the story of how communities in the Netherlands are confronting climate challenges and inspiring hope for a sustainable future. These images not only document their struggle but also serve as a call to action, making the crisis more real and immediate to a wider audience.
“Come and talk to me about climate justice. I am at the Domen on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00-14:00. See you there!"
This event is part of the Climate Justice Days. A week-long festival about climate justice. Check out the rest of the program here https://dukop.dk/6656/
