Alle på gaden for Palæstina - Gå sammen med Almen Modstand

OBS: VIGTIGE ÆNDRINGER I VORES DEMOPLANER FOR WEEKENDEN!

Kære alle,

For ikke at tage fokus fra den kritiske situation i Palæstina - og i solidaritet med alle palæstinensiske familier i de stemplede almene boligområder - har vi besluttet at aflyse vores demonstration på lørdag. I stedet vil vi sammen med CEDA opfordre til at deltage i Alle på gaden for Palæstina-initiativets demonstration fredag d. 1. december kl. 17.00. Her laver vi en stor Almen Modstand-blok og vi håber at I vil gå sammen med os.

Det har på ingen måde været en nem beslutning. På daglig basis rammes tusindvis af beboere af den dybt diskriminerende, såkaldte “parallelsamfundspakke” og vi har glædet os til at mødes med jer alle for samlet at råbe GOD JUL OG FUCK GHETTOLOVEN! Men da situationen i Gaza til stadighed er så horribel, som den er, tror vi på, at et råb for permanent våbenhvile er endnu mere akut. Vi håber I forstår vores beslutning og beklager til alle, der havde set frem til vores årlige december-tradition. Men tag ikke fejl - modstanden mod ghettoloven fortsætter og vores daglige solidaritet, hjælp og støtte fortsætter i boligområderne.

Dear all,
In order not to take focus away from the critical situation in Palestine - and in solidarity with all Palestinian families in the stigmatized public housing areas - we have decided to cancel our demonstration on Saturday. Instead, together with CEDA, we will encourage you to participate in the Everyone to the streets for the Palestine Initiative's demonstration on Friday 1st December at 17:00. Here we will make a big Almen Modstand block and we hope that you will join us.

This has by no means been an easy decision. On a daily basis, thousands of residents are affected by the deeply discriminatory, so-called "parallel society package" and we have been looking forward to meeting with you all to collectively shout Merry Christmas and FUCK THE GHETTO LAW! But with the situation in Gaza still as horrific as it is, we believe that a call for a permanent ceasefire is even more urgent. We hope you understand our decision and apologize to everyone who was looking forward to our annual December tradition. But make no mistake - the resistance against the ghetto law continues and our daily solidarity, help and support continues in the neighborhoods.
