In this podcast, we delve into specific challenges facing the Danish food system and explore practical, achievable solutions. Our goal is to address complex issues with a focus on practical solutions and show how these changes can make a difference in people's daily lives.
We will listen to episode 2: Building Democratic Food Systems - A talk with Nina Isabella Møller, a social scientist at SDU, about her work on food system change and agroecology in Denmark and beyond.
We will hear about how municipalities can become key players in supporting agroecological farming through public procurement, the first Danish food council in Kolding, etc. We will also learn about the situation of food insecurity in Denmark.

We are part of a coalition of 14 civil society organisations from 9 countries coming together in an EU-funded project to campaign for a system change: our aim is to REBOOT THE FOOD SYSTEM for a fairer and more sustainable agriculture that is based on agroecological principles and protects human and environmental rights. We have the right to good food – not only for us but for the planet and the people!
