This time we will show a highly enjoyable classic drama/comedy by Ang Lee with raving reviews.

The movie is about a chef and his daughters’ emotional journeys of love and self-desire.

It explores the sustainment of relationships by making and eating together. The food can serve as a symbol of life, identity, and cultural values. Imageries of food enrich character portrayals, symbolize power dynamics and gender order, and reflect the complexities of modern Chinese culture and the influence of the Western culture.

Our community dinner starts at 19.00 o’clock and the film will be shown around 20 o’clock.

The food is vegan and donation based (recommended price ca. 25 kr.), and you can buy drinks in the bar.
