Granada ImproFest "GIF", recognised with the EFFE label, is an improvised arts festival celebrated in Copenhagen/Frederiksberg, alternating editions between Granada (SP) as a yearly rotational festival.

"GIF 2024 Copenhagen edition" takes place in the form of a 3-day festival (26th-28th August) inviting mainly musicians from the jazz/improvised Danish and Spanish music scene. With an interdisciplinary nature, GIF aims to create a platform where artists from different art scenes can exchange their ideas, creative processes and methods - and ultimately create unique performances together that will be presented at the festival.

20.30 - PERFORMANCE: OPEN JAM session - Interdisciplinary tema

Wednesday 28th at METRONOMEN & UNDERWERKET
12.00 - ARTIST TALK: Interdisciplinary art in today's social context: Responsibilities, Struggles, Relation with society
19.30 - PERFORMACE: Screenings of Life by Sarvin Asa
20.30 - PERFORMANCE: GIF IMPROVISERS ORCHESTRA
22.30 - 03.00 PARTY (UNDERWERKET): AFROBEAT CONCERT by Beatriz Gijón, Dany Levy, Zeque Olmo, Jens Peter Møller and Fernando Gómez + DJ SET
