Call for demonstration - You can’t burn down solidarity!

This Monday night, a fire-bomb thrown through the windows of Global Aktion destroyed the organisations’ offices, and threatened the lives of its neighbours. Graffiti in front of the building made it clear that it was GA’s long-standing solidarity with Western Sahara and their struggle against Moroccan occupation that motivated the attack.

This is barely a fraction of the violent repression that Western Saharawis have been experiencing on a daily basis for the past 50 years.

Like all EU countries, the Danish State profits off of Morocco's mass selling-off of Western Sahara’s resources, and is reluctant to take action, nor even refer to the occupation as anything other than a “territorial dispute”.

The space for civil society is shrinking, and activists across many liberation movements everywhere are experiencing increased repression for their work.

This is the time to show that our solidarity can not be burned down. Show up to show we will not be silenced.
