On January 26th we’ll be screening a documentary about the fight to save a forest and oppose the biggest open-pit coal mine in northern Europe. A 13+ years long battle, that managed to draw international attention, save what was left of the forest, and carved a way to phase out coal mining in Germany.
This documentary takes us high up in the trees, where we follow the brave forest defenders in their treehouse-villages as they prepare themselves and defend themselves in the biggest eviction that ever took place in this forest.

The screening takes place on the 26th of January in Solidaritetshuset, Griffenfeldsgade 41, 2200 København.
The movie will start at 18.30.
