Disgraca is a place where people can use the facilities like gym,
workshop, screenprinting room, rehearsal space for donation or
contribution in form of organising events in the space. We have a
concert room and cantina level where we organise benefits regularly to
support local and international causes (check out our website to see the
events weve been organising!). We also have a bookshop where we sell
books as cheap as we can and where all the money is being put straight
into getting more books. Everything volunteer run, horizontally
organised in the DIY way. People can eat and enjoy the concerts
regardless of money.
The situation in Lisbon is rapidly deteriorating, with cultural spaces
being gentrified out of their places, either by eviction or impossible
rent prices. We decided to take our fate in our hands and started the
campaign to buy the building.
NO HARD DRUGS, NO VIOLENCE, NO SEXISM, NO HOMOPHOBIA, NO RACISM.
